The former president's Granddaughter Gets Professional Guidance from Tiger Woods Before LPGA Debut

The young golfer will have multiple prominent supporters when she starts her first LPGA appearance later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, possesses numerous golf courses and regularly plays against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically suggested to play and enjoy myself," she continued.

"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, making him quite busy."

Being non-professional, the golfer has played in only three events this year and holds position 461 in AJGA listings.

However she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's an even better human being. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, adapting to the flow."

The golfer will compete against multiple most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA stated that her participation brings the sport to different demographics, specifically among younger fans.
